Immersive Experiential was called upon work with an amazing production team to deliver the world’s largest immersive video projection dome for this year’s E3 convention in Los Angeles, CA. This inflatable dome is an air supported opaque projection dome that is 200′ or 61m in diameter and nearly 100′ in height. The IMRSV-X Mobile Dome was erected at the Los Angeles Colosseum near downtown and played host to over 3,000 screaming fans of world famous DJ Snake, Skrillex and a special guest appearance by Diplo. The guests were treated to an amazing 360-degree video display on the dome interior that immersed the audience in fulldome visuals that were live-mixed to the DJ’s that were performing. The venue took 3 days to erect and was only up for 1 night. In addition to 24x 26K lumen Barco DLP video projectors, the production included high powered lasers, external lighting effects and a massive lighting array on the exterior of the dome.

In 2014, our team was back at the big game for #PEPCITY at this year’s Super Bowl. Pepsi City was the jewel that stood out in the freezing weather in New York. Nestled rightsmack in Manhattan’s Bryant Park, #PEPCITY was designed to to serve as a large-scale ”thank you gift” to New York, which offered tastes of unique, artisanal fare that features PepsiCo Products while incorporating Broadway, art, sports and culture displays into a multi-dimensional presentations of classic city experiences. Our presence was felt during the 3-day event; with the production of Pepsi City that featured an 80’partial Geodesic dome (Projection Dome) connected tent, 40k lumen projectors, as well as immersive content through out the First-Of-Its-Kind dome.
For the 2nd year in a row, Xbox Kinect chose our team to deliver an immersive and interactive dome experience for their Play60 partnership with the NFL during Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, LA.
Our team erected 50′ and 24′ geodesic domes that we then projection mapped both inside and out.
Inside the dome, we pioneered and developed a Kinect interactive fulldome application that allowed guests to play the Kinect directly onto the immersive projection display.
Outside the dome, our team mapped 360 degree video that featured Xbox, Kinect, Play60, Super Bowl, and New Orleans branded animated elements to the dome.
Guests were amazed by the experience and there were long lines to experience the Xbox Kinect Geodesic Domes.
